Growing up in the Shenandoah Valley, it was always a treat to go visit my grandparents in NYC when I was little.  My parents would let my sister and I each choose one extra activity during our trips.  My sister opted for a variety of adventures throughout the years and I was always laser focused on visiting the New York Stock Exchange.  I didn’t know how I was going to be involved, but from a very young age, I was drawn to finance and investments.

At James Madison University, I majored in finance and minored in psychology; both of which have helped me on my path.  I worked in accounting for 2 years before I was introduced to and joined Norm and Mike in 1996.  From there I obtained my 7, 63, 65 and life & health licenses and continuously worked to expand my knowledge.  In 1999, I earned my MBA from JMU.

I enjoy the quiet of the outdoors and nature whether it be hiking, gardening or playing outside with our dogs; the peace of spending time with friends and family; road tripping to concerts or traveling to remote locations with my husband; a puzzle on a winter day.  What I appreciate about my work path is the privilege of walking with clients through their lives.  I’m honored to be part of their goals and dreams and to assist them in figuring out the possibilities and potential to get there!
